Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Sacred Heart Church in Gibraltar

Time

It was taken just before Church Started

Lighting

It was pretty dark only a few light and not much light coming in through the windows

Equipment

I used velbon tripod, nikon D90 with samyang 8mm fisheye lens and shutter release remote F22 @ 30sec ISO 200

Inspiration

Its just the most beautiful church in gibraltar

Editing

Actually i did not do much i used photoshop used the dodge and burn tool and lightroom 5 to convert it to black and white and used the exposure brush to lighten it just a bit

In my camera bag

Nikon D90 - nikon 50mm 1.8 - nikon 18 -105 mm - nikon 70 -200 F2.8 - nikon 105mm micro - nikon SB 700 speedlight Shutter release cable - ND cokin filters spare batteries

Feedback

For this kind of shot you must use a tripod, shutter release to avoid any type of camera shake, use the camera in manual mode, once you set up your shot and focus on your set up switch to manual focus, lowest ISO possible to avoid noise and take your time do not rush yourself when taking photographs also i used the live view mode to position what i wanted in the shot
