This photo was taken in Algeciras (Spain)

Time

This photo was taken at about 09.00am, I managed to get quite close without disturbing the birds or their nests.

Lighting

Light in the morning and evening are the best to photograph as the light is very soft. I positioned myself so that the light came fron the back lighting up the Bee-eaters.

Inspiration

This photo presented itself as the bird just got its food landed in front of me giving its back, so I knew that the bird was going to tilt his head to one side and it did.

Editing

Just a bit of saturation and cropping not much to do in this photo
