Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Cardiff.

Time

It was before Midday as I do not like to take photos as from Midday due to the harsh conditions.

Lighting

It was an overcast day as it shows.

Equipment

Nikon D750 - Sigma Art Lens 12 -24 Wide angle.

Inspiration

The sky was my objective as I love a good sky in a photo.

Editing

Photoshop. Firstly when I took the photo I metered for the sky to get a perfect sky, when I placed the photo in photoshop the grass etc was underexposed so then I created a duplicate layer and in curves put up the brightness and painted over the grass stairs etc

In my camera bag

Nikon D750 - Nikon 70 -200mm - Nikon 50mm 1.8g prime lens - Sigma Art Lens 12 -24 - Sigma 105 macro Lens

Feedback

Meter for what you want to get right the first time the rest can be dealt in Photoshop. ALWAYS SHOOT RAW FORMAT.
