My fellow motorcycle riders will recognize this well known 318 hair-pin curve drive through NC & TN on Hwy 129 known as the "Tail of the Dragon." Although I live in the North GA Mountains, this was a 3 1-2 hour drive for me to reach this section of Hwy 129 by 5:30 a.m. And within minutes of taking this breathtaking shot, it was gone. Many say it doesn’t even look like a photo, more like a painting. My response, “You just had to be there.”

Thank you for all the PR, comments and Likes! I am solely and merely an amateur photographer. I so admire professional photographers who devote their lives to capturing these breathtaking photos that can last from minutes to seconds. I don't live far from here; however, it was still a 4 hour drive, leaving at 2:45 in the morning. Just to be there at the right time, right place, to have been set up, ready, fingers crossed and literally 5 minutes I couldn't reclaim it. I tried driving to different coves at different altitudes on the mountain; however, the magic was lost.
