This is actually my 2nd version of this 3 shot HDR image. My 1st attempt was pretty bad, very over cooked. So I started over again. In Photomatix I combined the images for tone mapping and kept all of the sliders at minimum settings. After that it was Photoshops turn for the basic stuff.In my camera bag
For this shot I had my Canon 60D DSLR, Canon 18-55mm lens, and a very large Manfrotto tripod.Feedback
Watch the weather and the time of day. Sunrise and sunset are usually best, and if you get lucky you'll have some interesting weather to add some additional drama to your shot!
