This photo does not give me just a warm and cozy feeling. There is an impression of something menacing as well, perhaps something hiding behind the large tree on the right. I usually react to such cabin or cottages of light in a negative way, probably because I hated the junk coughed out by Thomas Kinkade, an artist I liken to a shoemaker without a sole. However, your photo is interesting and well composed. Congratulations on a job well done.

Thanks for the very thoughtful critique! About the only thing menacing was the thought of a bear popping out from behind the tree.
