Location
This photo was taken in Provence during the lavender bloom. More precisely in Plateau De Valensole. Coincidentally I found the beautiful Nadezhda Kuts that I photographed with real pleasure!Time
It was July 7, 2018 when I raced to make this photo trip with his friend Gianni Vannucchi. A true paradise of colors and perfumes! The photo was taken at the first light of sunset. It was around 6pm.Lighting
To take this picture I simply used natural light trying to position myself so that the sun filtered through the yellow dress. The shot was made by freehand.Equipment
To make the photo I used my Nikon D850 equipped with Nikon 24-70 lens. Focal 24mm; f / 5.6; iso 500; 1/2500; underexposed by 1 stop; spot light on purple lavender. No flashes and no tripods.Inspiration
The contrast with the dress of the model (and her hair) with lavender purple inspired my photo. In addition, the light that began to color the sunset gave the vision a very nice atmosphere.Editing
After developing the raw file slightly increasing the shadows, I used Color Efex Pro (darken lighten center) to increase the brightness in the points of the photo that I judged to be in need. No other changes made.In my camera bag
Normally in my backpack there are two camera bodies (D850 and D5) with the Nikon triad composed from 14-24; 24-70 and 70-200. If necessary, add the 85 f1.4 Nikon and the focaletor of focal eNikon x2Feedback
There are no special secrets to make photos like this. The main thing is knowing how to observe what we are facing. Imagine the photo before shooting. Great help leads to observe the photos of others and have some inspirations. Remember that the technique is learned but ..... the vision, is something that we have within us and we can only learn by observing the world and other photographers.
