Location
The photo was taken during the flowering in Provence in one of the most beautiful fields of the entire flowering. The model is a girl found casually on the spot that I convinced her to be my model.Time
The photo was taken at 6 pm on 6 July 2018 when the sun was just starting to fall but still had a considerable light strength.Lighting
I did not use any kind of artificial light. I only looked for the moment when the umbrella was strongly illuminated by the sun to reacquire the plot. The use of a focal zoom helped to make the photo nicely flatEquipment
The shot was made freehand. I used my Nikon D850 with Nikkor 70-200 (focal 170) iso-500; 1/5000 f / 2.8 below exposed by 0.7 stops.Inspiration
The inspiration came from the beautiful contrast of the white dress worn by the model and the colors of lavender. I love the lines in the photos. That's why I placed the camera vertically to give perspective to the photo taken.Editing
I have normally developed the raw file with raw camera in Photoshop. I then increased (always with Ps) slightly the brightness around the model. I then finished the post production with the "curves" tool. Nothing more.In my camera bag

There are thousands of photos of lavender flowers. For this, as for others, I tried to achieve something that distinguished itself from the normal. Human presence (if well managed) gives a particular touch to the photo, differentiating it from other beautiful (but perhaps banal) shots.
