Location
This photo was taken in Arecibo, Puerto Rico.Time
It was shot around 6:30a.m in a summer day.Lighting
In order to photograph waterfalls I prefer to use the early morning light or a coludy day, that way I don't over expose the highlights in the water and on the rocks.Equipment
For this photo I used a Canon 5d mark iii with a Canon 16-35mm f/4 lens. I also used a polarizer filter and a Manfrotto tripod.Inspiration
I get inspired to photograph landscapes by nature's beauty.Editing
I worked this photo in Lightroom. I recovered some shadows and worked the highlights. Sharpening and vibrance was also applied to the photo. In my camera bag
In my camera bag I carry some Lee filters and cleaning tissues.Feedback
The best time to photograph waterfalls is either early in the morning or in a cloudy day.
