Behind The Lens

Location
The picture was taken In Chobe National Park, Botswana.
Time
The photo was taken around 6:00p.m.
Lighting
The light was natural, no flash was used.
Equipment
I used a Canon 5d mark iii and a Canon 28-300mm L series to make the shot(he was very closed).
Inspiration
It was my last day in Botswana.It was a long hot day and they were about to close the park. We were on our way out and I was disappointed because I had seen all types of animals except the leopard. All of a sudden my guide saw one luxuriating on a branch.I was so excited I almost dropped the camera.I had to be quick because the guards were screaming at us to get out.
Editing
Sharpening was applied to the photo and shadows and highlights were recovered. A small crop was done for the composition.
In my camera bag
In my bag I carry cleaning tissues, mosquito repelant and a flash.

To do a shot like this make shure you have the correct aperture, speed and ISO. Be very patience and have fun with it! Respect nature, never agitate an animal for a shot.
