This shot was taken in a Lagoon called Cartagena in Lajas Puerto Rico.Time
The photo was taken around 7:30a.m. At that time the Osprey was fishing. Since there were some high bushes in front of me I had to take a ten foot ladder to capture this shot, still I was able to hide.Lighting
The light that morning was just perfect, the yellow glow of the early sun was reflecting in the bird's wings.Equipment
I used a Canon 7d mark iii with a Canon 500mm f4 ii L series lens. I also used a ten foot fiberglass ladder(trust me, carrying that thing plus the camera and the lens was not fun at all). Lol!Inspiration

When photographing birds respect the animal's habitat, don't forget that you are a guest. Wear camouflage clothes and hide, try to be invisible even if you use a ten foot ladder like I did!
