I was exploring the National cathedral on a summer's afternoon and stumbled across this gallery that run around the outside of the main tower several floors up. The symmetry of the architecture overlaid by the story of the light coming through the window, and the proverbial "light at the end of the tunnel" seemed fitting in that religious structure - it said to me that God offers patches of light as we walk the path to help us on our way, and if we stay on the straight and narrow, then there is glorious light awaiting at the end of our path. It is one of my favorite photos and has come to be a personal inspiration when it comes to my own life.
