I came out of a small boutique hotel I was staying at on a cold January night and looked up and there was this picture. The cloud cover was so low that the taller New York buildings were in the clouds, and it provided the perfect reflector for the reddish lights that were coming from another building to frame the New Yorker sign. The juxtaposition of the modern and the older ornate building told the story of the New York skyline perfectly.
