Thank you Daniel=) Due to lightpollution and not wanting to overexpose the stars and sky, + Mars=)

Super shot - but I'm mystified. The tech on this shot and the previous with star-trails appears to be the same - so how does one shot have trails and the other pin-sharp stars?

Thank you Stuart!=) The one with the trails are multiple images of sharp stars, stacked together and manually blended. I prefer to do it that way so I'll always have the option to use a single image if something interesting like a comet or shooting star should be in that one frame, instead of a short trail=) If that makes sense?

Also the foreground is from the same base file on both images, the exif might have been read from that and not from the stars=)
