Cenote Dos Ojos was a great dive experience. Did you go deep into the stalactites and stalagmites?

Yeah it was amazing there, loved it=) We went pretty far in, they called it a "cavern" dive for us but it was full on cave diving without the possibility to surface directly several places. Most of our dives were about 1hour from start to finish=) When did you go there mate?

Location
I took this on a scuba holiday, at the entrance/exit at the Cenote Dos Ojos in MexicoTime
It was taken around noon, we were very fortunate to see the sun peek through like we did since the entire sky was covered in cloud all day that day, but just as we went in for our second dive for the day, there they were! Those amazing dancing sunrays shining throughLighting
I've gone for a more siluette like look to the divers as you can see, and I left the foreground quite dark to emphasise that we were on our way into this massive cenote, undergroundEquipment
This was shot with a Canon 70D with a Canon 17-40mm lens in a Ikelite housing and wideangle port, I also used 2 Ikelite ds161 flashesInspiration
This was the photo I wanted to shoot that day, seeing everything, the crystal clear water, divers, a bit of the cave, and those amazing sunrays! It's absolutely beautiful to beholdEditing
This one didn't require that much processing, tweaking of the highlights/shadows, some contrast work and a bit of sharpeningIn my camera bag
I've just upgraded my camerabag, I always carry with me my Canon 6D, Zeiss 21mm and a Canon 70-200mm lense, and my manfrotto tripod. If I'm going for a forest walk I might bring a Canon 100mm with me aswell in case I see some interesting macro work. When it comes to underwater photography I use the 70D still, with a 60mm for most of the macro work and now a Tokina 10-17mm lens for the wideangle partFeedback
If you have the chance, check the weather for the day you're going in the Cenotes, and plan that dive to be on a sunny day, and get there early! Theres loads of people visiting these places everyday
