Location
I took this picture in Switzerland on Mount Tamaro. This church was designed by the architect Mario Botta, who designed lots of wonderful buildings in the area.Time
It was late in the morning of a day, that was a little overcast. There was enough light for a photo without a tripod or any other support.Lighting
It was important to me to have sufficient exposure that would depict the architecture, but not overexpose the mountains in the background without HDR, which I do not like very much anyway and probably was not familiar with at that time. I wanted to use an aperture (f/14,0) that would show the mountains very clear.Equipment
I used a Nikon D800, no tripod.Inspiration
I love the design of this church. Stairway to Heaven. Beautiful landscape and architecture that blends in perfectly. The location is so beautiful and the architecture as well.Editing

It depends very much on where I am going and what I plan to do. For trips to Africa and wildlife I love my 600 mm lens, which is pretty heavy together with a Nikon D5. Recently I bought a Leica Q2 Mono, which is small, and I take it everywhere. For dragon flies and other insects I take along a Nikon macro lens. I do not like zoom lenses so much, therefore I carry along several lenses most of the time.Feedback
It is easy to take photos of things that are fascinating and that I love. The best camera of the world cannot substitute the feeling you have for a subject, a landscape, an animal. I liked to travel, meet people of different countries and cultures. I love taking photos of nature as well. I do not mind to get up very early for the right light. Morning is my favorite time of the day anyway. I do not mind traveling long distances to experience different places and I am patient and can wait for hours for the right animal, the right light.
