Hi Kcable. Great shot. I'm wondering....do you use a high contrast filter or leadfoot the image on photoshop? I love strong contrast shots like the old crime scene shots of the 20's and 30's etc.

This is a fantastic shot I agree with Rob! I love black-and-white photos can you tell what filter you used

I was standing under the monorail and looked up to see it go by and looked great! So I waited for the next one and framed the shotEditing
The shot was actually pretty flat in color, So I decided to be creative in black & white. But first I color corrected the image then added more blue that will turn black in B&W I leave the rest of the image flat and turn the image to black & white. now I work with contrast and try not to lose the blacks where they're is texture if possible. Next I take my time and dodge and burn in some areas, mainly dodge the heavy dark areas and burn in the clouds. This is all subject to your own likingIn my camera bag

shoot a lot of different angles and exposures digital is cheap go crazy with the shots and come back with more chances the get the best one. Not like the ol' days of film where it cost for film, process, and printing Have FUN! Be Creative
