Yes, black & white and some photoshop manipulations, working with the black & white scale tones, First i look at the image to see if it will make a good black & white conversion. Since this has a lot of contrast and the deep blue sky it was a good match. I work in color first to get the right blue and white. Then I convert to black & white. Once in black & white I try and use the Zone System that works with the 10 tones from pure white to total black and the brey tones in between. This image was a little off becsue of the contrats. So I created two images one with lighter grey tones and one with the contrast. married them together for the look i wanted. I then created a better reflection in the water and added a few more clouds> there was a reflection in the water, but not as nice and as large as the one I created.In my camera bag
