This image was created mid day using natural light.Lighting
all natural light.Equipment
this was actually taken with a Nikon 3200 (other camera gave out had to use backup body). Hand held looking up no flash, with (I think) a 50mm Prime.Inspiration
We always liked light houses and this one being featured on Ghost Hunters we we hopping to catch a ghost! (not really, we just liked the way the stairs looked)Editing
We run everything through Photoshop to convert from RAW but no real editing done on this one other then the addition of our watermark. In my camera bag
We travel with two bags. Our equiptment ranges from Nikon D5200, D7100, D7200,and D800. Most images we share come from the 7100 or 7200 as the 800 is usually reserved for paid work (which we don't share). Glass is mostly Nikon prime lenses 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm but we also have a couple of zoom lenses. we each have a remote flashes and triggers but have not used in over a year as we prefer natural lighting.Feedback
Practice, practice, practice. Learn your camera, lens, and flash. study good images and compare to what you are doing. be honest with your self and never stop trying to grow. When you stop trying to improve your work, that's when it is at it's worst.
