Location
This photo was taken in a hotel room we rented local to several models we had been wanting to shoot with. Arianna was one of of the models.Time
This shoot was actually in the middle of the day, so most of the light is natural, although we did have lights on hand for fill.Lighting
Mostly Natural light. The room was on the second floor and had big windows so we used them :)Equipment
only Nikon D7200 and a 35mm prime was used for most of this shoot.Inspiration
This is the type of image we normally create. In this case Arianna had not done a boudoir shoot before so we stuck with a "classic" set so she was comfortable.Editing
Only very basic Photoshop edits and of course going black and white. In my camera bag
I use a 7100 and Genevieve uses a 7200 most of the time as we are normally outside or on the beach, but may go better for studio shoots. For lenses we tend to stick to either a 35mm or 50mm prime but do have a few zoom lenses when needed.Feedback
You MUST be able to make your model comfortable or the images will not turn out. Spend some time brushing up on your interpersonal skills and learn the basic poses. Don't be afraid to experiment and try new poses and lighting. Keep your images as unique as possible.
