It sometimes helps to be aware of how the lenses one uses capture color. Different lenses can exhibit subtle yet appreciable differences in how they render the various tones of the color spectrum. For this shot, I purposely selected a lens that I found rendered blue and green tones quite exquisitely, and a bit different from just about any other lens I was familiar with.
