One of my clients asked me if I would design and construct an entrance arbor to help with the entrance architecture of his house. After about a week of sketches and a few more finished drawings I stopped by the property to inform him of what I had in mind for his project. He very much liked the drawings and told me to start on the project as soon as I could. I pre painted the arbor with white primer and several finish coats of bright white enamel. The project took a bit more that three weeks to complete. The arbor posts cement bases four on each side supported the arbor very well so there was no need to connect the arbor to the house. The cement still needed to cure for about another week. After the cement was cured I wrapped the eight post bases with white painted redwood about a third up the columns to cover the black brackets. Both my client and myself were very pleased with the finished project!!
