We came across this fox whilst driving in New Hampshire...he was on the other side of the highway so we pulled over & he crossed the highway and came and stood(then sat) right beside us...must have been hungry I think...special moment for me as I had never seen a fox in the wild. Didn't think I had time to find my camera so I just snapped on my phone.

Location
This photo was taken in the White Mountain National Park New HampshireTime
It was taken around the middle of the day.Lighting
The sun was shining and it was a beautiful clear day.Equipment
My mobile phone was used to take this photo.Inspiration
Driving down the Kancamagus Highway in New Hampshire & saw a car stopped on the other side of the highway, we pulled over to see what was happening and this fox crossed the road and came and sat right right beside the car on the snow bank. I imagined that he would run off very quickly & my camera was not easy to access so I quickly grabbed my phone & took some photos. We suspect he was looking for food, it was very early spring and a very quiet time on a highway that is usually quite busy.Editing
Not a lot of post processing with this one but I did sharpen and adjust the contrast a little. In my camera bag
I don't carry a lot of equipment as I'm an absolute beginner but i now have a mini tripod and a cloth to clean the lens.Feedback
Always have your camera ready to go... The last thing we were expecting to see was a fox but we should have been better prepared because we were doing a scenic drive!
