Thanks. It was a very young engineer, Brunel who designed this which at the time ?1864 was thought impossible without a supporting column in the middle.

Love this Ruwan as my Family and I live not far from here. Bristol is very proud of it's iconic bridge, and it does look good after all this time.

A wonderful place. I was a locum consultant vascular and transplant surgeon for the North Bristol NHS Trust in 2008-2009. The whole Cliffton bridge and the surrounding village still has a special place in my soul.
