I took this photo while visiting the Hakuto Kaigan coast in Tottori prefecture, Japan. This gate or torii as it is named in Japanese is the only standing sculpture on a small island off the coast. Hakuto means white hare, and there's a legend surrounding the island that involves the white rabbit and how he helped a man find true love.
