I took this photo in Montana, near the Little Big Horn site.Time
It was mid-day.Lighting
Gorgeous, cloudy clear day in May in Montana.Equipment
Sony Nex-6 with a 14-55mm lens, handheld.Inspiration
I was on a road trip from Idaho to Wyoming, and on the way back we stopped at an awesome souvenir store near the entrance to the Little Big Horn site. There were some old log buildings, as well as teepees and two old, weather-beaten wagons. This photo is of one of those wagons. It was a beautiful symbol of the American Westward movement.Editing
I only tweaked the sliders slightly. In my camera bag
I carry two cameras- a Sony Nex-6 and a Sony a6000. I like to travel light! I have 14-55mm, 50-210mm, 14mm and fish eye lenses which are with me along with cleaning materials, batteries, memory cards, and a bean bag for stability.Feedback
Honestly, this was almost just a tourist shot. But, the wagon itself was dramatic and placed on a small hill. The cloudy skies were an awesome backdrop, and showed off the beautiful Big Skies of Montana.
