Leucistic birds are a rarity of nature and are not often seen. They are different from albinos in that they retain the pigment in their eyes, beaks, and legs, whereas albinos do not. Leucisim is a mutation when the melanin normally found in feathers is mostly absent. This causes multiple problems: they are unable to display colored feathers as part of mating rituals so therefore usually aren't able to reproduce; they are easy for predators to spot as they aren't able to blend into their normal environment; and the lack of melanin causes eventual deterioration of the feathers making them unable to fly well. This Allen's hummingbird also had a deformed beak. A rare sight indeed.
