One of my favorite places. I have a shot I took when I went there as my screen saver. Gorgeous capture here. Great light.

What a great photo! I was in a similar location during daytime, but my pix are no match for this one.

Wow, stunning! I voted for the bridge with all the arches, a while back. I did not see this at the time! Wonderful patients rewarded!

Wonderful - I wanted to give you a better award but VB has this habit of disappearing from under the click sometimes, so thought I would let you know I love it. :)

Location
I took this picture at Manarola, Italy. It's the most famous photography location in the Italian National Park of 5 Terre.Time
I arrived there at 5 PM and waited there 4 hours shooting many pictures at different time. Every 30 minutes it seemed to shoot a completely different place since light conditions continued to change. This was shot at 7 PM, 20 minutes after the sunset.Lighting
As you can see, the shot was taken during the blue hour when the natual light is very soft, homogeneus and weak. The lights of the houses turned on and reflected onto the sea give a very special connotation to the shot.Equipment
I used a sturdy tripod and a 5D Mark II with a remote control and a 24-105mm f/4 lens.Inspiration
I saw dozens of pictures from here by many photographers and since it's only 2 hours from home I could not miss the chance to shoot it myself!Editing
I have my personal workflow which I respected for this shot. In lightrooom I used my own custum preset for the raw file, then I used Topaz Denoise to reduce noise, emulated a Fuji film in Photoshop with a LUT and custom graded a litttle bit more.In my camera bag
I usually take my Sony A7s with a 24-70 mm lens and a 70-200 mm lens with me. Few accessories such as extra batteries and SD cards, a tripod and an eMotimo TB3 for timelapses.Feedback
There are famous places a photographer should visit once in a lifetime and I think this is one of them. So, if you come to Italy, you cannot miss the 5 Terre National Park.
