Behind The Lens

Location

This art installation is inside the Park of Monza, one of the biggest city parks of Europe and right next to the F1 track.

Time

I shot this during the afternoon.

Lighting

The cloud helped me having a soft and diffuse light, that's all.

Equipment

I used a Sony a7S with a 24-70 mm lens (focal length 24mm here), a tripod and a shutter remote.

Inspiration

The art installation itself inspired me, I just found the right point of view.

Editing

Yes, the picture was quite flat, I recovered the clouds and some dark areas of the big chair with Lightroom and added contrast and clarity to the whole composition.

In my camera bag

I usually take my Sony A7s with a 24-70 mm Zeiss lens and a 70-200 mm Canon lens with a metabones adapter. A tripod, an eMotimo TB3 for timelaspes and a couple of ND filters.

Feedback

When you find really inspiring piece of art or architecture, do not just take a picture which documents someone else's creativity, but instead try to shoot your very personal interpretation of that place. Be yourself the artist!
