Wonderful black and white of a road to nowhere. Kind of gives the feel of not getting anywhere. voted.

That day the natural light was gorgeous, so I was stopping the car every other scenic spot to take pictures. The dream of every photographer I would say.Equipment
I used my Nikon D3 S together with the Nikon 24-70mm f2,8 and my wind-jacket as support of the camera. As polarizer filter I used a Tiffen one.Inspiration
While I was driving I realized I was completely alone in the valley, so I thought to take some pictures from different angles and positions and of course as well in center of the road. I like to take BW photos as well and when I looked the horizon I immediately switched the camera on the BW setting.Editing
I normally use curves in PS to enhance the contrast, especially with the black & white pictures. In my camera bag
In this trip I had the Nikon D3 S and the Nikon D600. As lenses the Sigma Fish-eye 15mm f2,8, the Nikon 24-70mm f 2,8, the C. Zeiss (old silver series) 135 f4 Triotar with M42 adapter, the Tamron 350mm f5,6 catadioptric. Tiffen polarizer filters. As tripod I had the Manfrotto 055CX.Feedback
I recommend to any photographer to plan a trip in the Monument Valley/Lake Poweel/Canyonlands area. It's really a scenic and funny trip with the opportunity to shoots thousands of great pictures any time of the year in any weather conditions.
