I go to Barakah Farm every season to shoot the owner's horses, fainting goats, chickens, ducks, and environment to help her promote her farm, the campsites and barn AirBnB she runs, and to help her rescue a rare breed of Jifan Malabar Early American Foundation Arabians. The colt pictured above may well be the last male of his breed line.Editing
Just some basic color correcting and cropping. I don't like to over manipulate my images. In my camera bag
Camera, kit lens, marcro lens, long lens, couple of rarely used filters, microfiber cleaning cloths, back up battery and SC card, business cards. Maybe I take an external flash but not very often.Feedback
Shoot what you love. Take too many shots from different angles and in different lighting. And pay attention to your "gut". Some of my favorite pictures are of things I didn't even know I was shooting until after I downloaded the shots. Sometimes your brain sees things but doesn't tell you exactly what. Take the shot and figure it out later.
