Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on my home studio, using my Kiev 4A and a body of a similar Kiev I bought to get some parts for repair.

Time

As a studio shot, I did it past midnight, after hours and hours of other works on another subjects :)

Lighting

A pretty normal flash setup for this one.

Equipment

My Canon 80D with Sigma 17-50mm lens, Yongnuo and Limostudio flashes and a mini-studio box.

Inspiration

Since 2017 i´ve been working on recovering and restoring old cameras, using them for work and as props on my shootings, composing a book project of History of Photography.

Editing

No post processing needed.

In my camera bag

I usually like to have close to me some close up filters, polarizers and a few effects, 5 to 7 lenses and two cameras (a full frame and a APS-C). A backup film camera for emergencies and most of the time manual vintage lenses.
