Behind The Lens

Location
I took this photo in an alley, lost between one of the most important avenues in São Paulo - SP - Brazil. We were kicked out of our original place for daylight photos and finding this place saved the day!
Time
This photo was in the middle of a great sunny day, around 5:00pm (yep, the clock wasn´t that right!)
Lighting
We used only natural light for this photograph. A few old analogic filters and a little tube helped to set the depth too.
Equipment
My Canon 6D, a 28mm Tamron lens (due to the adapter, registered as 50mm ¬¬), with a CU+3 filter and a little tube, probably the 13. No tripod, due to the lot of stuff I had to bring for this session and I almost don´t use flashes too.
Inspiration
I rarely give highlights for details of objects, but this time I decided to explore and register not only the expressions and poses of Gi (model). We tried on another session a very close image of her with a pipe, and this time something more dynamic with this clock. All the idea of using it´s design and her costume to "register" the idea of "Vintage-ism" helped to create this image.
Editing
On Lightroom just used some adjustments to make it a bit warmer, but´s almost a rule for me to let the photograph unchanged.
In my camera bag
I usually like to have close to me some close up filters, polarizers and a few effects, 5 to 7 lenses and two cameras (a full frame and a APS-C).
Feedback
A good advice is to make a photo like this is combine lenses like 18 to 50mm and a CU filter or an extension tube, usually made for macros. With a little creativity you can reach some unexpected great results.
