Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Garrison co Fermanagh Northern Ireland , I had gone to lough Melvin to catch the sunset I have several nice ones from the same location

Time

It was quite late and the sun was getting low on the horizon

Lighting

The light coming from the sunset and bouncing off the surface of the water created a visual impact

Equipment

I use a Nikon D3300 mounted on a Benro tripod and the standard 18/55 lens

Inspiration

The sunset had been my original subject, however when I saw the person walking towards me along the jetty I brought the focus to capture the action.

Editing

I did no post processing for this photo

In my camera bag

My camera bag always contains my Nikon D3300 the standard 18/55 lens the 50 mm 1..8 a Sigma 70/ 300 dg macro and a few assorted filters .

Feedback

I often go to the same place for sunsets it is amazing how the opportunities present themselves in the course of several visits
