This is one of my favourite photos I took it one winter morning. outside my own front door in Rossinver IrelandTime
The sun was beginning to rise about ten o clock in the morningLighting
The morning was misty, as the sun rose it turned the sky pink The photo was taken handheld with the sun behind me and the pink reflected in the clouds that provided the colourful backlightEquipment
I used a Sony DSC HX1 Focal length 102 at f4 taken at 10 1600 secInspiration
The picture just presented itself. As an artist I could see the natural beauty in the scene and was just in the right place at the right timeEditing
The only editing I did was a simple crop to improve the compositionIn my camera bag
When out I always carry my Nikon D3300 with a nikon 18 55 lens and a sigma 70 300 f4 macro lens also a monopod. and if Macro is my intention my tripod with a ball and socket head a spare battery and back up sd cardFeedback
To get this sort of image you must be out early morning, and evening as the sun goes down the landscape comes alive and features pop with the unique light at each end of the day. It is much more difficult to find those special pictures with a clear blue mid day sky..
