Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken through a concealed position through an open window to the rear of my house. I took advantage of a number of wild foxes that are fed there and waited. I was most fortunate to get the creature approaching head on to me.

Time

It was late afternoon and there was no strong sunlight.

Lighting

The lighting was natural daylight that gave true colour

Equipment

This was taken with a Nikon D7200 fitted with the 70/300 zoom lens

Inspiration

I love the foxes and it was on the third evening that I managed to get the result I was happiest with no processing was done

Editing

No processing was done it is a direct representation I usually

In my camera bag

I usually carry a Nikon 50mm 1.8 the 18/55 kit vr lens and the 70/3000 Nikon lens ,also extension tubes and a dedicated flash

Feedback

The most important thing is position and patience. Because it is rare to find such shots easy to come by
