Beautiful. I have been in Hamburg, but do not remember this location. Those pesky construction cranes!! I would be tempted to post-process them out.

Location
I took this photo in Hamburg, Germany - my hometown. This place called Speicherstadt, a big, old warehouse district and since 2015 UNESCO World Heritage. At one end of the Speicherstadt, on the Poggenmühlenbrücke, you have this beautiful view at the "water castle" and the Elbphilharmonie in the background.Time
It was in the evening after sunset. You can still see the blue hour colored sky.Lighting
I just took one exposure, so I had to keep an eye for the bright lights of the buildings. The lights of the port of Hamburg illuminated the clouds in the background.Equipment
I used my EOS 6D, a tripod and a Canon TS-E 90mm.Inspiration
It's my favorite place in Hamburg and I really enjoy sunsets there. At this day the clouds were very low and also fast moving.Editing
Just some little changes with a RAW converter. In my camera bag
At the moment an EOS 6D, a 16-35mm f/4, a 85mm f/1.2, a Nikkor 55mm f/1.2, a Samyang 35mm f/1.4, a Samyang 14mm f/2.8 and a little Fuji X100T.Feedback
Normally I took long exposures at this place with a wider angle, that time I tried something different with higher ISO and I liked the result even more - so I would say, if you are bored of a place you took many photos before, try different settings and also other angles of view.
