Location
This is a composite image created with several different images and GIF's.Time
It is a nighttime themeLighting
Lighting was only used on the model, single light.Equipment
For this image, it was created on computer, so I am not sure what to answer with equipment, other than that.Inspiration
This was inspired by the ship and the outfit the model is wearing, "Steam Punk" from the 1800's, as well as the ship being from the 1800's.Editing
All different images were changed to gray scale after they were combined. In my camera bag
I use a Nikon D810 and in my bag I carry an array of other lenses, depending on the type of shoot I am planing. I mostly always have a Nikon 24-70mm f2.8 on the camera. It is a great versatile lens for landscape to portraits, but when I want extra wide shots, like interiors that are very open, or landscapes that are very open and panoramic, I use a Nikon 16-35mm f4 VR Ultra Wide Lens.Feedback
The best advice to create composite images is to experiment and try ideas together. This particular image started out as an experiment, and manifested into something great! The use of a background image, and combining other images onto it is a great way to become more creative.
