Yes, that's the idea! Thanks for commenting. I have others I've done, and am planning on more. These tilt shift lenses are pricey, but the results are very unique.

Wonderful!! Love the look of a tilt shift, although it probably will be a long time if I ever get a lens myself. In the meantime, I enjoy others! Congratulations on winning People's Choice!

Location
This photo was taken in Prague, Czech Republic.Time
This was the "golden hour" of the day when the sun was going down over the city.Lighting
"The Golden Hour" of the day produces some of the best dramatic shots you can get with shadows and highlights. The sun casts a gold tone as it sets on the horizon, giving many opportunities to capture beautifully toned objects and scenes.Equipment
This was taken with a Nikon D200 on a Manfrotto tripod using a Nikon PC-E Micro-NIKKOR 85mm f/2.8D Tilt-Shift Lens in order to create the "miniature" look to the image.Inspiration
The entire city of Prague is a gold mine for photographers. There are so many opportunities in that one city that you could spend a few years there and still not get all you could get from there. This shot was taken at one of the best views of the bridges you can get to in the city. The idea to use a tilt shift lens came as an idea to do something different from all the rest of the images of the bridges I've seen. I wanted the image to give the illusion of it being miniature, so decided to use the tilt shift lens. During my visit there for a week, I took well over 3,000 photos using an array of different lenses, shooting during different times of the day, and at night. Prague is one of the only cities that escaped damage from WW2, leaving medieval buildings standing that date back to before that era. Cobblestone roads and stone buildings, castles, and cathedrals, and incredible bridges await you there.Editing
The only post processing in this was a little color correction. In my camera bag
I carry whatever I need for a shoot for the day, so the equipment will vary dramatically, depending on what I will be shooting. Mostly I carry a Nikon D810 camera, with a versatile Nikon 24-70mm f2.8 VR lens attached. I carry a polarizing filter just in case, lens cleaner, brush, lens caps, extra batteries, and usually a Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 VR lens for distance shots. These are essential for regular shooting, but always add other specialty lenses for specific types of images.Feedback
Get as high above your subject as possible at a place where you can frame your shot. Waiting for the golden hour for this particular image would be best. Use a tilt shift lens and make sure you learn how to use it prior to planning your shot or you can run into problems.
