Nice one. I wonder how would that looked with more water drops from the fish's tail ????

Location
This photo was taken in the Dana Point, California, harbor while I went out for a walk early in the morning.Time
I did go for a walk and about 7:30am,Lighting
The light was the early morning hours light I love the most.Equipment
Just my new Nikon D5300 camera and a 55-300 kit lens (Nikkor)Inspiration
I noticed this heron standing on the border of the water. I said to myself. Well, let's see what he is up to.There was a guy fishing close by. After observing the Heron for about 15-20 minutes, he suddenly jumped in the water and came back with a big mackerel in his beak, ate it entirely. I did shoot every single frame from the time the bird came back, turned the fish and swallowed it. The fisherman was a little jealous as his fish were smaller than the ones the Heron caught.Editing
Minor post processing, adjustment of clarity and tones. In my camera bag
I always go out with my Nikon D5300, 18-55mm and 55-300mm lens.Feedback
Observe your surroundings, be patient and don't go to close to wildlife. Just live the moment, connect with the animal and wait things to happen.
