Congratulations on your win! It was really hard picking a winner but in the end I had to pick this one. Love the greens contrasted with the blacks, the leading lines of the leaf, and his position on the leaf makes the leaf almost wing-like. Great capture! I have to confess too, Gray Tree Frogs are one of my favorite tree frog species.

Location
This was taken in my backyard not far from my house. With me being only 15 and not being able to leave the house much, I'm limited in what I can photograph. Having to make due with what I have around makes taking photographs more challenging, but also that much more interesting.Time
Mid-day. It was like any other day, but finding this frog made my day a little more special.Lighting
I was pretty lucky to have the lighting that I did. The clouds and shade from the plant offered even exposure allowing me to capture more details.Equipment
I used a Canon 60D, 55mm Canon lens, and a macro extension. At this time I did not yet have my Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro lens though I wish I did.Inspiration
The main thing that inspired me was the beauty of the tree frog. It's eyes and colors were so captivating. I also loved how everything was a different shade of green and how the leaf offered leading lines.Editing
I'm very happy to say that the only post-processing I did were mi or touch ups. Like your basic exposure levels and sharpness. In my camera bag
On a typical photography outing, my bag conains my Canon 60D camera body, Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro lens, Canon 18-55mm kit lens, Canon 75-300mm telephoto lens, one medium and one large lens hood, sometimes my tripod, filters, extra battery, sometimes my remote shutter button, and a cleaning cloth. Oh, and of course some snacks to fuel my exploration ;)Feedback
Honestly, the only advice I have is to have patience and have fun. There is no "bad" photo, just a chance to learn from mistakes. Never stop exploring!
