Location
Photo was taken in Eastern Saskatchewan CanadaTime
Photo was taken around 6pm local time, Photo was shot hand held as the light was still bright enough to shoot at a fairly low iso and have a crisp photo.Lighting
When storm chasing you don't have much say over the lighting you just have to adapt and be quick to change your camera settings on the go.Equipment
Canon 70d, Hand held, no flash.Inspiration
Storm chasing is my inspiration, but in this case the white horse had drawn my whole attention with the scene unfolding overhead it was standing there unfazed.Editing
When processing storm photo's the processing I usually do is saturation and contrast both processed in photo shop. The foreground and background processed in separate layers. In my camera bag
I usually have my 2 Dslr's canon 70D 18-135mm lens with a Manfrotto tripod this is my primary camera and set up. I also carry a second Dslr with a 10-22mm canon lens that I use more for timelapes when the storms permit.Feedback
get out chase safe and shoot away
