Great image Craig. Incredible light and fantastic detail throught the tonal range. I love the little details such as the silo crumpled and unused but left standing in the field anyway :)

Every time this shot shows up, I am so drawn to it. Absolutely stunning work, fantastic composition. Making such a simple subject matter so dramatic...nicely done.

I grew up in the Great Plains. This reminds me of the fields around my home town. Nicely done capturing the storm and the forground.

Location
This photo was taken about 10 minutes from Regina, SaskatchewanTime
The photo was taken aroun 8:15pm local time the sun was getting ready to set lighting up the foreground and making he dark clouds darker.Lighting
As always when storm chasing you don't have much say over the lighting and conditions so being able to adapt quickly and fine tune your settings is a must.Equipment
Canon 70d handheld no flashInspiration
Storm chasing is my passion and finding a great foreground is a little luck i really liked he one crushed bin from a early storm.Editing
When processing my storm photos I usually play with contrast and saturation mostly and process foreground and background separately in photo shopIn my camera bag
I usually have my 2 canon Dslr's one a 70d in the bag one with a 18-135 canon lense and the other with a 10-22mm lense, a manfrotto tripod.Feedback
get out shoot away and chase safe.
