Beautiful shot. The detail in the web is stunning! I would love to look more in the middle but yikes!

Great web. Great contrast. Nice lighting. Spider looks cool too. Thanks for sharing.

The lights behind this web make this shot unique from the other web pix. I like!

Location
As I was taking my morning walk at the edge of a heavily wooded area I noticed the web strung between two branches of a treeTime
It was just after sunriseLighting
In this case the lighting was "what you see is what you get". Time of day is everything.Equipment
I was carrying my Nikon D5100 this morning while out for my walk.Inspiration
I love nature, so I saw this as a gift. The sunlight shining through the web, with the darkness of the woods set as a background, made this an exceptional and rare opportunity, especially with the "web-maker" so well centered.Editing
I shoot everything, every composition (in the viewfinder), "loose". A bad in-camera crop can't be undone. The ease and simplicity of a creative crop enhances every image. Along with the crop, I adjusted the exposure to increase contrast. In my camera bag
When shooting for "fun" locally my tool is a Nikon D750. I carry three Nikon zooms: a super-wide, medium, and long range; as well as a 105mm macro. Depending on situation and goal, I carry a monopod and/or tripod.Feedback
When shooting nature, Nature is the boss. As with everything you shoot, If it's worth shooting once, it is worth shooting more than once. Always vary perspective and composition, as well as changing exposures (bracketing)...if you care enough.
