You have so many amazing shots spread out over so many subjects. If I might offer a creative critique. You could definitely benefit from a posing guide. Please don't be offended. It isn't my intention.

Location
This one was taken on the shore at HastingsTime
It wasn't so much the time of day that was important as the gathering storm that was rolling in. The wind was pummelling the coastline, the spume and froth was everwhere and the camera and lens were coated in a salty film of spray after only a few short seconds shooting. In short - conditions were perfect, haha!Lighting
Pure grey, salty, lens covering natural light.Equipment
I was shooting with my 16-35mm f2.8 vario-sonnar mounted on a Sony A99v. I had a basic filter mounted to protect the glass from the rapidly accumulating salt sprayInspiration
I love the coast. Three of the basic elements combined - air, water and earth. It's always changing. I've always wanted to shoot storm waves ever since I was a small boy and saw pictures of lighthouses being swamped by humungous walls of white waterEditing
The main job was to convert the image to black and white and crop it. Just simple stuff reallyIn my camera bag
For this type of general shoot - a cleaning kit, Sony A99v, landscape lens (16-35mm f2.8), 150-500mm and 2X teleconverter, 50mm f2.8 macro.Feedback
Patience and perseverance. The environment is totally fluid (bad pun intended) and your inspiration will literally come out of the blue - be ready
