This is a really creative piece! I love the contrast of color between the rocks and the rings, and the way the bramble complements the style of the rings. Absolutely gorgeous~! :)

Location
I took this photo at Amelia IS. Florida for a wedding I shot. It was an impromptu shot, but I was very proud of it.Time
I took this midday indoors.Lighting
The lighting for this was achieved with a hand held LED video light, and I recommend every photographer have one in their bag. It's a very solid $40 investment that is great for food and jewelry shots.Equipment
Tripod, Canon 5D Mk 11 and a Sigma 105 Macro Lens. For lighting I used a handheld video light.Inspiration
We were looking around for things to take a ring shot on and spotted this little nest with eggs in a curio cabinet where the bride was prepping. I thought the theme of starting a nest was great for a wedding, so I set the nest aside for one of the ring shots. I took ring shots in other locations and set ups, but this was my favorite!Editing
Minimal post processing on this. I cloned a few distracting twigs and color corrected in Lightroom. In my camera bag
I've since upgraded to a 5d Mklll and generally have my Tamron 24-70, Canon 70-200 (both with stabilization) and various gizmos and gadgets (like the video light) as well as a Canon 600 Flash.Feedback
Tripod is a must for macro work like this, and I do recommend something to light it up. In this case it was a cheapo video light, but I really like using it for macros.
