Grand Jury Winner

"This is a classic style photograph that captures the imagination of the viewer, I love the use of b&w toning, the sharpness of the subjects along with the softness of the background, the use of lighting, and the emotion of the couple setting off on their new journey together through life. The slight smile on the brides face and the soft kiss from the groom on her head wraps the moment, and makes this a classic photo. The hairstyle of the bride is classic and beautiful which adds to the total look of this photograph. And of course, the car with it's classic lines and elegant feel make this photo stand out from the crowd. The lighting looks like all natural light, with possibly some fill light added to the couples face, but very well done. Any photographer would love to have a photo like this in their portfolio!" - Michael Allen

Runner Up

"I love the style of this photo, very elegant, classic and beautiful. It feels like a real moment as the bride touches up her makeup as she arrives to her wedding. The lighting is great, a nice catchlight
in her eyes, and the white highlights of the cars interior makes a great background that helps the bride stand out from the scene. It is very hard to tell is any light was added to this, it appears to be light reflecting from the cars interior, very good use of lighting overall. This could easily be a commercial magazine advertisement, it has a fresh modern look with a hint of a vintage feel from the 1970's era" - Michael Allen

People's Choice

"This is simply a beautiful photograph combining a unique and beautiful landscape with and dramatic sky scene, capturing the bride and groom in a perfect pose with the wind catching sail with the brides wedding veil. The photographers use of flash fill lighting mixed with natural daylight and dramatic backlighting makes this a compelling photo. The range of color captures the scene very well, the rich hues of the blue sky and the warmth of the sun as a backlight are stunning. " - Michael Allen
