Location
This photo was taken in my village near Warwick, UK. I took it whilst taking my dog for a walk. Initially I didnβt notice the plane flying over.Time
The photo was taken at around 19:30 on a cold late autumn evening. It was very still weather, and a perfectly clear skyLighting
The lighting on the church was from a few street lights on the road nearby and the rest just moonlight and a few starsEquipment
I used an iPhone 11Pro for this. As with many photo opportunities, it was the only camera to hand. Although I think it did a good job of picking out detailInspiration
The village church has a great setting with the graveyard. That paired with the full moon and contrail, I thought it worked wellEditing
I sparingly used the photo editing software on my phone. Just a few tweaks of the contrast and brightnessIn my camera bag
I now own a Leica Q2 Monochrom Reporter that I didnβt own at the time. This is my go to camera with my phone to take any colour shots when necessaryFeedback
My advice would to be spontaneous and look out for anything that catches your eye. Some shots work - others donβt
