Location
Silver City, New Mexico, is a unique, small city in the southwest mountains of New Mexico. While strolling up Chihuahua Hill enjoying a beautiful morning and the unique architecture of this neighborhood, I came across this Morning Glory covered hydrant next to an adobe dwelling that was being restored. It seemed quite appropriate in this art centered community.Time
This image was taken while the morning sun was brightening up the sky.Lighting
At high altitude (just under 7000 feet above sea level) the morning sun seems to make colors pop!Equipment
Canon SX540HS compact camera. My current go-to camera while hiking and walking.Inspiration
This hydrant is just typical of the neighborhood and the city. I love Silver City! There are so many unique places to use a camera. We were visiting here for a month, and it was easy to go through a complete SD card in and around this lovely location.Editing
Cropping and contrast adjustment helped the color "pop".In my camera bag
The above Canon and a Nikon D5100 with a 600mm Tamron lens.Feedback
Get out and walk.
