I took this one on the East side of Mt. Pelio that's located in central Greece, just 50 Kilometers from Volos city. Pelio mountain is one of the most famous mountains of Greece as it is considered that was the summer residence of the Olympian Gods of ancient Greece. The mountain is also very known for it's beautiful and very clean beaches.Time
With the first light of day. I went there actually one hour before sunrise in order to prepare myself and my equipment and of course the exactly frame that I would shoot.Lighting
When it comes to sunrises and sunsets we all know that the light is at it's best. Most photographers waiting just for the perfect light and that comes most of the times by sunrise or by sunset. So, yes the light in my opinion is great at this period.Equipment
Here is a shot with a fish-eye lens, yeap fish-eye! I had my X-t3 Fujifilm camera with me and of course my tripod. Nothing else was needed.Inspiration
Sunrises and sunsets find them always a worth to make a long trip to shoot the. The rock that stands was by itself a subject to shoot and combining it with the sunrise was just natural for me.Editing
Although the light was perfect, I always boost the colors a little bit and increase the shadows wherever is needed. At sky I did nothing more but decreasing the highlights and gave a boost in orange color.In my camera bag

Go earlier than the sunrise. Set your gear and take some shots to see what will it looks like and when you find the perfect spot then wait just for the light that will be right for you.
